The following new versions of our applications have been released:

• Storage SCP Emulator 3.2.6;
• Storage SCU Emulator 3.2.5;
• DICOM Compare 3.0.1;
• DICOM Anonymizer 3.0.1;
• DICOM Editor 3.2.5;
• DICOM Network Analyzer 3.3.1.

 The main changes are:

• All these new versions make use of the improved DVTK library;
  
• All these new versions will now work on Microsoft Windows XP (32 or 64 bits), Windows Vista (32 or 64 bits) and Windows 7 (32 or 64 bits);
  
• The DICOM Editor now is able to save a DICOM file with Transfer Syntax ILE, ELE and EBE to another DICOM file with a different uncompressed Transfer Syntax;
  
• The DataGrid, in which the DICOM attributes are displayed, has been improved;
  
• Full copy-and-paste functionality of Sequence Items is now available;
  
• The DICOM Network Analyzer is now able to capture Jumbo Frames.

ICT Automatisering, one of the two participants in the Open Source project DVTk, has changed its name to HUMIQ this year. We will also change this name on our dvtk.org website. The DVTk project itself will not change, the same people from the two participating companies will continue working for the DVTk project.

Today we released a new Alpha version of the DVTk Library 3.1.0.2 and applications based on this new library.
Big improvement is the support for Windows 7 and 64 bit Windows versions. The applications DVT 2.6.0.1 and DICOM Network Analyzer 3.3.0.1 are now based on the new library version and thus run on Windows 7 64 bit editions.

Please keep in mind that these new versions are Alpha versions that should be used with the proper care. You can provide feedback through the forum and report issues through the ticket system on the website.

We have seen a lot of request for 64 bit support and are also working on this. At this moment I can tell you that we have had some successful internal tests and expect to release 64 bit test version of our applications soon.
