Hello,
I have been attempting to use the DVTk Anonymizer for RT-ion plans. I noticed pretty early on that there are a few tags that are not recognized by DVTk(Listed below). At first I didn't think this was a big deal since these tags don't need to be anonymized and even though the data is read as unknown it is still copied exactly to the new file. However I recently noticed that when the anonymized file is written the VR codes of these tags are changed to UN. This is causing problems with reading the anonymized files in other programs, namely DCMTK.

At first I assumed that the tags were not in the Definition files but when I went to add them some were already there. Does anyone know why DVTk wouldn't recognize these tags? Also, I don't know much about how these definition files should be formatted. Is there somewhere where the format is described? My Google searching has yielded nothing so far and I would like to add the other missing tags to the definition file.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Tim

I got the RT-ion definition files from
http://www.dvtk.org/uploads/Files/dic ... ions/RTIonDefinitions.zip

The unrecognized tags are:
Referenced Patient Volume ID
Referenced Primary Dose Reference UID
Maximum Collimated Field Diameter
Planned Distal Target Distance
Nominal SOBP Width
BeamLine Data Table Version
Extended Interface Data
Extended Interface Length
Extended Interface Format

Of these the following are already in RTIonPlanStorage.def:
Maximum Collimated Field Diameter - line 338
Nominal SOBP Width - line 339
Planned Distal Target Distance - line 340
