Hi,

I'm using the DCMViewer tool (latest version 3.1) for validating a DICOM file. That file has some standard violating issues that can are easily identified with another validator. However, when I try to open it with DCMViewer an exception is displayed instead (see below). As DCMViewer is supposed to be a validator as well I am surpised that it cannot handle this file. Am I using the tool somehow incorrectly here?

Thanks a lot in advance!

This is the exception being thrown:

Error type:
System.Xml.XmlException

Error description:
Unexpected end of file while parsing Name has occurred. Line 705, position 98.

Did you try using the Media session present in DVT? Did it also throw an exception?
