Hello to you all, On the 10th of may 2011 we organize a webinar on validating DICOM with DVTk. In this interacitve webinar, we will show a nice roundtrip with DVTk tooling. Two DICOM/DVTk experts from HUMIQ will be online during the webinar. One expert will do the presentation and exucute the DVTk tooling demo. The other expert is online to answer all you questions in a chat session. When you register, you can already send us your questions, we will handle them during the chat session, when due to time restrictions we can not answer your question online, we will get in contact with you by mail or phone to answer your question(s). On friday the 9th of november 2007 IHE-Nederland organises the IHE Nederland congress. During this day, the public success story of the first DVTk based IHE profile test tool, the IHE-RO testtool will be demonstrated.
We invite you to come and take a look how the tool is to be used, and what the tool can be of any service to your needs during implementation, testing and integration. During the annual meeting of ASTRO the first radiation oncologie profile is demonstrated. This profile is tested during the IHE-RO connecthaton with the first DVTk based IHE tooling, the IHE-RO Testtooling.

All plans are based on the varian 120 leafs mlc, the name that will be used is: TU_IHE
During the conectathon, manufacturers need to define this treatmens machine.

We confirmed the IHE-RO definition, need to clarify the language regarding that points need to be in the orientation of the image planes, but not necessarily coincident with the image places.

3.5.4.1.3 Representation of Dose "This transaction shall support Dose represented as a three-dimensional sampled onto axial image planes in the same DICOM Patient coordinate Reference as the diagnostic images used to compute it. The orthogonal with respect to the DICOM patient coordinate system: Orientation (Patient) (0020,0037) shall be [±1, 0, 0, 0, ±1, 0]."
Does this mean that the dose grid in the z-direction must coincidence with the image planes? In other words, there cannot be dose 'pixels' which do not lie on a image plane just like contours? Or does it just mean that the normal of the dose planes must coincidence with the image normals? Some clarification is needed. I would personally hope and propose that only plane normals must be parallel.
