It still a little bit quiet here at the contest but I have heard a rumour that the famous Dutch artist Bassie has infiltrated our community and that he is currently working on a beautiful colourful design.

I had a quick look to the DCM Editor.

I think that it fulfills a real need in DICOM testing but at this moment I'm missing some guidelines after that I downloaded the zip-file.
I should expect at least a README-file that tells me:
- the requirements, which version of DVTk....
- where to install/extract it
- basic features
- limitation

Hi Tjerk, I partially agree with you.

When I try to interpret the text on 'http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verification':

Quote:
....
Validation: "Are we building the right product?",
i.e., does the product do what the user really requires.

Verification: "Are we building the product right?",
i.e., does the product conform to the specifications. ...

I think that, if we have to change something, it must be the 'Dicom Validation and Verification ToolKit': DV2TK .
This because the capabilities of DVTk are going much beyond only verification.
But for this you have to build your own mechanism around DVTk to create a system specific test environment.

Nice topic, I'm sure that it will we continued.
But for now I take a beer instead of coffee : enjoy the last couple of days of 2005 and Happy New Year!
