Not, but I believe you should be able to compile with Visual Studio for the .NET 2.0 framework. Check the article below for more information. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dotnet/targetnet2fromvs2008.aspx

I think the issue is that there are spaces in the path you put the source code. Can you try to put the source code on C:\dvtk_library.
There is an old component in the project code that doesn't like spaces in names at compile time.

So my understanding is that you build the DICOM Emulator and try to receive a DICOM C-Echo with it. This fails with your own build version and succeeds with the downloaded version.
From what and where is the C-Echo coming?

You should update your Definition Files with the Beta files to enable support for this SOP Class.
You can download the "Definition Files 15-12-2008 Beta" from the http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvt/files/ website.
Extract the file X-RayRadiationDoseSR.def from the zip file and save it to the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\DVTk\Definition Files\DICOM. In DVT you can then load the Definition File as a SOP Class and start using it.

Succes and let me know if you need more information.

We are working on new Definition Files for all currently supported SOP Classes but also new SOP Classes. They cover a large part of your list. These new Definition Files are currently available as beta on SourceForge.NET. You can download them from their. Please post some feedback on the results you have with these Definition Files, since that will help us in speeding up the rollout of new Definition Files.

The problem is related to the DNS configuration of your computer. The application performs a DNS query to lookup the IP address of the entered hostname/ip. If there is no DNS configured this will cause an error.
This sounds like a PR for the DICOM Network Analyzer that I will discuss in our next T-Con.

As work around I suggest that you turn of the filter for now.

Well, for some reason the message showed up on my screen during a test. Can you tell me the OS you are running the Network Analyzer on? I saw the message on Windows Vista.

It is not a bug but I agree that it isn't the behavior we would like to have.
The history of DVTk goes back a number of years and due to design decisions taken a long time ago this is a known limitation. The issue is in the core code of the DVTk Library and thus all applications.

This is a known issue, for some reason we see worse capture results with the WinPcap 4.0 library. That seems to have issues with capturing high rates of packets. If you retry the scenario a few times there is a chance that all packets are available and the capture will show the correct overview.
The result would be the same if you capture with an application like Wireshark or Ethereal and let the DICOM Network Analyzer analyze the saved capture file.

This looks like an incorrect validation error. I believe that this was already reported recently in a ticket to us. When the ticket is fixed, we will also update the user manual to work correctly.
