You can get the source code at SourceForge.NET. On our site and SourceForge.NET you can find instructions on how to access our CVS archive at SourceForge.NET.

Yes, the operator gets a list of patients that are scheduled for an X-Ray examination using MWL. He or she selects the patient and starts the acquisition.
After acquisition the images are send to a PACS using DICOM Storage and additionally committed for long term archiving using DICOM Storage Commitment. Please note that MWL is relatively new and not always used. The alternative is that the patient has forms with his information that is entered into the X-ray system manually.

We released a new version today which solves a number of the issues. It is an alpha version, but you could give it a try.

Sorry for the late reaction. I will have someone from the developers look into this.

You might want to try the today released DVTk Library as reference. That has been update to be compatible with 64 bit operating systems.

Did you install DVT 2.3.1 also in the default location, because this application requires that.

No at the moment not. However, you might be able to script the changes you would like to apply to DICOM files. With VBS scripting or DVT Scripts you can do this. The scripts can be executed using DVT Command.

I assume you got this message while validating a DICOM object with private attributes. Can you provide some more logging information or the validation results? Since only the error without any context makes it very vague.

At the moment not, I can only suggest to use a self extractable executable that might help in easy setting up the environment. An other option might be to manually install the DLLs into the GAC.

I think you will need to first familiarize yourself with the DICOM Standard. DICOM doesn’t provide any methods to initiate the acquisition of images. In DICOM you have a worklist which contains a scheduled procedure. It is up to the user of the modality to select an item from the worklist and create the images. Normally it is then the modality that will initiate the storage of the images to a PACS system.
