Can't use the date I want for the Worklist Query [by lizguillot]

Modality Emulator:: Can't use the date I want for the Worklist Query
I need to test different dates for my Worklist Query, so what I did is that I changed the "Scheduled Procedure Step Start Date" by "20120514" for example, so that the only applications that will be seen, would be the ones with that date. But it doesn't work. It doesn't catch any application, it only catches applications when I don't write anything on that space of the "Scheduled...." żIt's the software or what can I do?

Thank you

Elizabeth

Modality Emulator:: Scheduled Procedure Step Start Date
I have exactly the same error, I've already changed the DICOM at the Worklist Query with the date I want and still hasn't worked. I believe it's a software limitation.

Greetings,

Elizabeth

LS,

to solve the "no command field attribute value" problem, copy the following attached definition file file (in the zip file) in the executable directory of the modality emulator. This is a known problem and should be solved in the next release of the modality emulator.

Regards,
Marco

Modality Emulator:: Emulator - Unable to get MPPS-Complete step to appear
Thanks for responding Satish,

We are able to complete all steps up to sending an MPPS-Complete status.

Per DICOM specification, once the modality emulator sends an MPPS-In Progress (N-Create) transaction, it can then send either an MPPS-Discontinue or an MPPS-Completed (N-SET) transaction....not both. The Modality Emulator will allow the sending of an MPPS-Discontinue but we do not seem to be able to send an MPPS-Complete transaction. I do not see how the N-SET transaction with a status of Completed is generated so we can test successfully.

Regards,

Sean

Are you talking about extracting dcm images from the Studies obtained? or are you talking about generating new images?!

Modality Emulator:: change requesting AE-Title
Hi

I installed the Modality Emulator, and performed a query. I selected the worklist query and adapted the worklistquery1. Removed all the vallue's and changed the scheduled_station_ae_title.

But logging the query, I see a default? value "CLLSPS" is sent to the RIS, and also a default? date of today is sent.

0040 0001 6 | scheduled_station_ae_title | AE | 1-n | "CLLSPS"
0040 0002 8 | scheduled_procedure_step_start_date | DA | 1 | "20100521"

I realy like to change the requesting AE-Title to perform some test. Is it possible to change this vallue?

Thanks

Modality Emulator:: Store Image Button
No not really, but if you hit the Query button you can always select a dummy patient, event when no RIS is configured or available. In that way you can send a store request.
However, if you only want to use the storage functionality I suggest you start using the DICOM Storage SCU emulator. That application is meant for just doing storage.

Floris.

Modality Emulator:: How do you load a worklist query template?
From what I read you have done the right actions. If you want to know what actually goes over the line you can run the DICOM Network Analyzer. That will give you insight in what goes wrong.

Floris.

Modality Emulator:: I can't query worklist
Assuming you have loaded the appropriate worklist query mentioned by Floris. Clear all the query values except for the modality code. This will ensure that nothing is restricting your query.

Also, I've downloaded and installed the Network Analyzer. It's a great way to confirm EXACTLY what the Emulator is sending out.
