DVT scripting:: Sending C-MOVE RSP with an empty dataset.
Dear All,

I want to simulate a scenario where DVT(Acting as move SCP) sends back a C-MOVE RSP containing datasets. Any idea how can i achieve this??

I tried sending C-MOVE response as below, however i can see that DVT sends only the command set.

SEND C-MOVE-RSP(
(0x00000900, 0x0000) # Dimse Status
(0x00001021, 1) # Number of Complete Sub-operations
(0x00001022, 0) # Number of Failed Sub-operations
(0x00001023, 0) # Number of Warning Sub-operations

(0x0020000D, "1.2.3.4.55")
(0x0020000E, "1.2.3.4.56")
(0x00080018, "1.2.3.4.57") )

http://ihe.dvtk.org/modules/wiwimod/index.php?page=Downloads&cmenu=downloads is a page in which you can download three IHE test tools (DVT in combination with VB test scripts) based on the HLI which you can use as an example.

Hi,

I am new to the dicom images.

I want to retrieve Total DLP from Dose Report (Please refer attached image file Coontz - John Smith DOSE.jpg).

I am understanding how DLP is calculated, even if original dicom (.dcm) image doesn't have such tag (Please refer attached dicom file 02167DCM.dcm)[/i][/color].

I got some information on the following link but still I am not understanding it.

Hi Friends,

I am working on dicom images.

I want to retrieve the Dose information (DLP) from dicom images.
But I am not getting the way to get those information.

Can you please also explain me, where this information is located, means in dicom headers or metadata.

Please help me on this issue.

Hi RoseAnn,

you already did half of the solution.

You also need to add the name of this dll to the "DVTKdllList.xml" file that is located in the bin directory of DVT. In this way, all namespaces and classes defined in this dll will also become available in a VB script that you execute under DVT.

Hi User,

You can use DvtCmd application for validating a media directory. Pl use following option:

DvtCmd -d <Full session file name> <Full media directory path>

The DVT command application is available in DVT installation directory.
