Storage SCP Emulator:: abstract-syntax-not-supported
I get the basic idea. Thanks. Is there any way around this? I would like to verify that the query operation I am using is Diccom complaint is there a way to get around this syntax issue so I can show the customer a error free report so that everything is ok. When I query Pacs with this its successful only fails with DVTK.

Storage SCP Emulator:: Chinese Characterset GB 18030
Hi Karsten,

a few years ago, we received a software contribution from Agfa to be able to display strings that are encoded with a subset of character sets that are defined by the DICOM standard. This has been build into e.g. DVT and the Storage SCP Emulator.

The current set of character sets for which this is possible can be found in the <install directory>\Storage SCP Emulator\CharacterSets. GB 18030 is however not part of the supported character sets.

After implementing this display funcionality we tried multipe times to get a description from the software developer from Agfa (we created the original code) how we could extend the set of supported character sets. My guess is he was to busy with other things as we did not receive this information...

So in this case, I don't think we can help you with this.

If somehow you would like to give it a try to extend the character sets, please let us know, so we can pinpoint you to the code involved.

Regards,
Marco

You can run multiple Storage SCU emulator sessions pointing to the SCP windows service.

Storage SCP Emulator:: [EDITED] Command CMOVERQ is not handled, why?
The C-Move operation consists of a series of C-STORE Sub operations. Basically, the Query Retrieve SCP functions as a SCP for C-MOVE requests and routes these C-MOVE requests to the Storage SCP using C-STORE commands. You must mmodify your code accordingly.

Hi..
I un-installed and re-installed the software. But the problem remained. But when I went for windows updates and re-installing the software it worked.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion..
Jerin

You cannot view an image using the toolkit.Try using Dicom Eye.However, you can view the contents of a dcm file using the DVTk Editor.

Ok, I solved the problem. I forgot to activate the Transfer Syntax in the emulator GUI.

Storage SCP Emulator:: Need a DICOM Service for transferring a minimal DICOM file
If you already have this as a file, the DICOM Storage SCU Emulator would be the easiest way to go. You can use it to send an existing DICOM file.
