RIS Emulator:: Support in Japanese characters
Hi Eyal,

de DVTk RIS Emulator supports (emulates) MWL and MPPS as a SCP.

I'm assuming you are referring to Modality Worklist support in your question. You can supply the RIS Emulator with MWL C-FIND-RSP pseudo-DICOM files to determine which responses it will send back on a received query. If you make sure that these C-FIND-RSP pseudo-DICOM files contain japanese characters for specific attributes, these will be sent back in the C-FIND-RSP (of course only the attributes that have been queried for).

Hope this helps,
Marco

Hi Rika,

There is a button which says "Import Dicom files" in the RIS Emulator UI.You can individually add the DICOM data to the RIS emulator's worklist by using this option.

RIS Emulator:: Scheduled Procedure Step Start Date
This isn't clear. There is the 'Edit DCM files' tab, in which it is indeed possible to set the step start (and end).

However, setting these does not appear to have any effect; the MWL query result still contains the current date and time for the step start, and no step end.

This can be confirmed by clicking the 'View information model...' button; the data always contains the current date and time for SPS start (0040,0002/3) and never any end, regardless of the content of the source DCM files (and any editing done in the 'Edit DCM Files' tab).

So, is there any way to get something other than the current date and time for SPS dates? Currently,

Not, but I believe you should be able to compile with Visual Studio for the .NET 2.0 framework. Check the article below for more information. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dotnet/targetnet2fromvs2008.aspx

RIS Emulator:: I'm having trouble with the RIS Emulator
Is the RIS Emulator comming with the exception message or the OFFIS DICOM tool?
It is not clear to me what you are trying to accomplish, but if you want to query the RIS emulator, you can use the Modality Emulator application.
