Sending MPPS to Mirth from Modality Emulator [by lizguillot]

DICOM Editor:: Sending MPPS to Mirth from Modality Emulator
I've been trying to send the DICOM MPPS status directly from the modality emulator to Mirth without any success. I wonder, is it even possible to do this? or, if it is, how can I do it?

LS,

the DICOM Editor is capable of editing any DICOM file, regardless of the storage SOP class involved. If you cannot save the RT DICOM files, as you indicated, this is probably a DICOM Editor problem. Installation has been implemented rather straight forward, so I don't expect a problem here.

Could you please submit a ticket for this, and if possible, anonymize the data sets involved (only if containing actual patient data) and send this to info@dvtk.org?

It is not on the roadmap and I don't expect it do be. I do agree that for certain situations this would be a powerful future.

And it's better this way, i think:

if(!attributeTag.StartsWith("("))

}

I separate in two conditions because the user can introduce only one of the parenthesis. You can add another automatic corrections: remove duplicated parenthesis or introduce the '.' in case of fault for example.

No. I'm using the source code. I'm playing with it and find this little bug. Nothing serious.

In the DVTk Modality Emulator, the MPPS message is built internally after the MWL responses have been received. All you have to do is to press the "Send MPPS Progress" button present in the UI.

Hi Budhi,

DVTk is about testing healthcare standards like DICOM, HL7 and IHE. It is not used for creating DICOM software components. I think you will need to look for other fora that can help you.
